This is a picture of Jimbo Fisher throwing a baseball

Florida State Seminoles, Jimbo Fisher, Offseason

It isn’t enough that Florida State won the national championship, but the Seminoles have also found a way to take over the spring too.

In Tuesday’s game in Tampa against the Yankees (yes, those Yankees), Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher threw out the first pitch.

Oh and you might have heard that a certain Heisman Trophy winner who also plays baseball could appear in the game. Can’t confirm. Story developing. For now let’s just enjoy the image of Fisher throwing a baseball — if he can hurl it as fast as he talks, he might have a future as a reliever.

The Heisman Memorial Trophy Award (usually known colloquially as the Heisman Trophy or the Heisman), is awarded annually to the most outstanding player in college football in the United States whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work. It is presented by the Heisman Trophy Trust in early December before the postseason bowl games.
