Alabama puts ’0-2′ motivational posters in players’ lockers

Alabama Crimson Tide, Nick Saban

Alabama failed to reach the SEC title game thanks to its last-second loss to Auburn in the Iron Bowl, and the Crimson Tide followed that up with a Sugar Bowl defeat to Oklahoma. It seems Nick Saban doesn’t want his players forgetting how the 2013 season ended.

According to a poster on Reddit.com, Alabama hung posters above its players’ lockers reminding them of the team’s mishaps against Auburn and Oklahoma. The poster reads:

“If you continue to do the same thing that you have always done you will get the same result. Guaranteed.”

The poster includes the scores of the Crimson Tide’s losses to the Tigers and Sooners and includes the record “0-2″ at the bottom in crimson. That’s one way to motivate players.

Too bad that Bama got beat by a spread team in Oklahoma who was perfectly created to handle what they had to do on offense when McCarron had to throw every down...welcome to Big 12 football Bama!

Lost to 2 spread teams with exceptionally mobile QBs and almost lost to a third in Texas A&M.  Seems to me that the losses are more on the coaches than the players.

If Alabama loses its first two games of 2014, the phone company will change the Area Code to 044.

11-2 and team is pissed off.  Got to appreciate that.  Not like they will let it come to 3-9!

So, Saban must have missed Kiffin running "Throw to Marqise Lee" every single play during his last full season as USC's head coach.

@GaryBrunner That's 20 years old, heard that one after Buffalo lost 4 SB's in a row.
