Auburn fans roll Toomer’s Corner despite BCS title game loss to Florida State

Auburn Tigers, BCS Championship Game, Florida State Seminoles

Monday’s loss to Florida State in the BCS title game wasn’t enough to keep Auburn fans from celebrating the 2013 season.

Mobile, Ala., television station Fox 10 WALA posted a video of Tigers fans rolling Toomer’s Corner early Tuesday morning despite Auburn’s 34-31 loss to the champion Seminoles. Draping Toomer’s Corner in toilet paper is a tradition usually reserved for Tigers victories, but fans were so thankful for the program’s resurgence under first-year coach Gus Malzahn that many felt a special rolling was in order.

ROSENBERG: Florida State and Auburn: Two magical seasons, but only one champion

Auburn finished the season 12-2 after finishing 3-9 last year, including an 0-8 mark in the SEC.
