Report: Oklahoma’s Damien Williams, Lacoltan Bester suspended vs. Kansas State

Oklahoma will be without starting running back Damien Williams and starting wide receiver Lacoltan Bester when the Sooners travel to take on Kansas State on Saturday, Oklahoma City’s KOCO-TV reports. Both players have been suspended by the team for a violation of team rules.

Williams has rushed for 553 yards and leads the team with seven rushing touchdowns and 114 carries. Bester is third on the Sooners with 279 receiving yards on 20 catches with one touchdown.

Oklahoma faces the Wildcats at noon Saturday in Manhattan before traveling to No. 10 Oklahoma State on Dec. 7 for the regular-season finale.

It is impressive that some teams still have integrity!!!!!!!  There are many programs that would never suspend one starter, much less two starters.

I don't like the man but I have to give him snaps for this call.  He has proven he has the guts (and it's not the first time he has) to stand up for what other programs should and a lot of times do not!!!!!
