Texas A&M begins $450 million stadium renovations to Kyle Field

Stadium Renovations, Stadiums, Texas A&M Aggies

Whoa, Texas A&M. Just because Johnny Manziel is potentially bolting to the NFL after this season, that doesn’t mean you have to go and destroy your entire football stadium.

Actually, the Aggies — who beat Mississippi State 51-41 last Saturday in their final home game of the year — are simply kicking off the school’s $450 million renovations to Kyle Field. Only a few days removed from A&M’s last game, the field is now a pile of dirt, as evidenced in an Instagram photo posted by Aggies defensive line coach Terry Price on Wednesday.

The coach added the following comment:

“Kyle Field has been cleared and is being lowered as we speak. They are working fast on our new home. #12thman”

I hope they build it better than they built there HATE camp fire that hurt and killed students years back.  I still feel bad for those kids families. What a horrible event that was.

@C-Diddy You must be from Texas as this is the only place you'll find a high school stadium as big as Kyle Field! Have a look at what the new stadium will look like at www.kylefield.com. Impressive to say the least.
