USC wide receiver Marqise Lee probable vs. Oregon State
USC wide receiver Marqise Lee is probable for Friday night’s game against Oregon State, coach Ed Orgeron told reporters Wednesday.
Lee sat out last week’s victory over Utah with an injured left knee and did not participate in practice on Monday or Tuesday. He first injured the knee against Arizona State on Sept. 28 and missed USC’s win over Arizona on Oct. 10. He returned in the team’s Oct. 19 loss to Notre Dame, but he tweaked his knee again against the Irish and missed the second half.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Oregeron told reporters that seeing Lee on the field has a positive effect on his mood. “It brightens mine,” Oregeron said. “I didn’t ask [the team] if it brightens theirs, but it sure brightens mine.”
On the season, Lee has caught a team-leading 32 passes for 403 yards and one touchdown.
