Alabama safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of teams rules, Andrew Gribble of AL.com reports.

Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban announced the suspension after practice on Wednesday. He would not elaborate on what led to the punishment or how much time the safety might miss.

Through four games Clinton-Dix ranks second on the Alabama defense with 24 total tackles. He’s also recorded two pass breakups and a pair of passes defended.

The top-ranked Crimson Tide face Georgia State on Saturday in Tuscaloosa.

Team Rules ?????

I thought these were NCAA rule violations.

"Team Rules" is being completely  dishonest. He was in violation of NCAA rules for taking money from a coach.

Oh, the occasional SEC bye week - you know, the Citadel, Georgia State, S.C. State, Ga Southern - when all the SEC schools "suspend" players so they don't miss next week against LSU, or Georgia, or Florida...
