South Carolina coaches get in heated exchange on sidelines against Georgia

Coaches, Georgia Bulldogs, South Carolina Gamecocks

It could’ve been the tight game. It could’ve been the heat and humidity. Whatever the reason, something got into several of South Carolina’s coaches during the third quarter of the Gamecocks’ matchup against Georgia in Athens.

Perhaps Jadeveon Clowney should’ve stepped in to resolve the dispute.

I must have accidentally clicked someone's facebook link on accident.  That is what I am reading, someone's facebook update?

Seriously, people go to college to write like any fan facebook updater?

Is this supposed to be an article?  Are we supposed to know who Jadeveon Clowney is?  Hello?  Is this Sports Illustrated?  CALL THE FREAKING EDITORS.

Coach 1: "Hey, Clowney just said he could coach better than you right now, and he has a tummy ache! I think he is right!"

Coach 2"You take that back, and tell that Clowney I am going to stick my shoe up his...."

Coach 2: "Don't you threaten our top player who might make a play yet today.. hell, we might even let him play QB."

Coach 3: I think it's time we go kick some Clowney butt.

Player: "Ok boys, time for you to go to your corners for a 10 minute time out.

I liked Spurriers comments about it after the game.  He said, "well, at least they cared."

Who is Zac Ellis and why is he allowed to post drivel like this?

It was tight game on the road. Stuff like that can happen on the sideline. No need to make a big deal out of it.

Great job of reporting here. As readers, we don't need to know the names of the coaches, or what units they coach, or when during the game this exchange happened, or why it might have happened. Just show the clip and let us try to figure it out on our own. Keep up the great work!

Minor stuff. At least, back in the day, Buddy Ryan was sufficiently classless that he actually punched Kevin Gilbride.

That's very professional.

@BY

'Cause there's nothing better than seeing SEC rednecks attack each other in defeat.

@Vinny Cordoba You can make up your own story line this way, though.

"No, you do NOT need to chill salad forks, and it IS okay to serve cheese with a fish course."

"F you, you malcontent!  Eating a bit of arugula with a warm fork is awful, and when was the last time you had cheese with fish at a top end restaurant?"

 "Your mother!"

Fight's on.

@OK @BY Agreed that the argument is interesting. How about names and the cause of the dispute?

@SARDiver @Vinny Cordoba I never can think up funny stuff like this. This is a great comment. I love these young college students when they do this.

@SARDiver , I like it. I figured they were arguing over the relative merits of Bach's Concerto in D Minor, and whether it is more suitable for piano or violin. Thanks for clearing it up for me!
