Braxton Miller hit hard, taken to locker room vs. SDSU
Ohio State spokesman: "Plan to brace Miller's knee and bring back to sidelines, see if he can go."—

It won’t hurt Ohio State against a San Diego State team that lost to Eastern Illinois by 21 last week, but Buckeye fans are collectively holding their breath after seeing Braxton Miller go down with an apparent knee injury. Miller also appeared to take a shot to the head as well.
Kenny Guiton is a more than capable backup, but Miller is the engine that drives the Ohio State offense, especially since this team doesn’t appear to be as defensively potent as in years past. The Buckeyes have a very easy schedule on paper and are thinking BCS, but that will be made a lot more complicated if their star quarterback has to miss significant time. OSU travels to Cal next week, and although Sonny Dykes’ team is young and raw, the Bears can score, as they showed against Northwestern last week.
Ohio State needs Miller back, but it needs him to be healthy for the long haul even more.
