A list of things the ESPN2 crew talked about during the first half of Wake Forest-BC

Well, the Wake Forest vs. BC game didn’t give us much to work with in the first half. Not that anyone is that surprised.

The Demon Deacon offense has been on a steady decline for a number of years now, and the Eagles are still trying to transition into the type of program Steve Addazio is trying to put together in his first year. Wake fumbled on two different option plays, leading to two BC touchdowns.

Boston College fumbled a punt with under a minute to play, but the Deacs couldn’t get in from the two-yard line in four plays before the half. The Eagles had just seven first downs, and Wake Forest ran it 25 times and averaged 2.0 yards per rush. It’s ugly, folks.

I guess I can’t blame Danny Kanell and Carter Blackburn for trying to find other things to talk about.

Here is a list of things that were discussed:

  • Rivalries
  • Michigan possibly winning the Big Ten
  • Rivalries some more
  • Chip Kelly
  • Monday Night Football
  • Tempo
  • Faking injuries
  • Giant hamburgers
  • New Hampshire football
  • Dudes
  • “The world we live in now”
  • Rankings
  • Clemson

Stick around in the second half to hear the broadcasting pair give their thoughts on how Breaking Bad will end, and whether Lil Wayne’s Dedication 5 is an indication he still has what it takes to be relevant in rap.

Hey, par for the course. How about doing a phone interview while there's a game taking place in the background? This is why I mute these idiots.

The "E" in ESPN does stand for Entertainment after all.
