First half of Texas Tech-SMU was anything but an ‘Air Raid’

With just 22 total points (five field goals and one touchdown) in the first half of the Texas Tech-SMU game, it’s a far cry from the offensive explosion we were expecting out of Kliff Kingsbury and June Jones and Hal Mumme. Sure, there are early-season jitters and kinks to work out, not to mention Texas Tech is starting a walk-on freshman quarterback. But it’s still a bit disappointing. The good folks online pretty much agreed:
