Like running out of Bobby Petrino jokes, it never really occurred to us that the Jerry Sandusky case could get any more appalling. Over to you, ABC News (standard unstoppable autoplay video warning at that link):

On the first day of jury selection in the child molestation trial of former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, ABC News has learned that Sandusky allegedly wrote “creepy” love letters to his victims, eight of whom are set to testify against him.

We are too revolted to add much more in the way of commentary, as we are busily trying to keep our skin from crawling off our body and hiding under the desk. This is probably going to get worse again, isn’t it?

We’re not assigned to cover the trial ourselves, but for those of you interested in following along with the legal proceedings, Michael McCann has written a primer on the major players.
